PTTLNG NONG FAB
RECEIVING TERMINAL
This terminal has many unique features included in its environmentally friendly design which incorporates greenery into the building.
In contrast with rising demand of energy consumption, the natural gas reserve in the Gulf of Thailand has declined. PTTLNG sees the important in expanding import capacities of LNG to ensure sufficient supply of clean energy within the country.
As a result, Nong Fab LNG Receiving Terminal project was established. The project locates in Ban Nong Fab, Map Ta Phut Sub-district, Rayong Province on an area of 182 rai to support the import of 7.5 million tons of LNG per year.
KHON KAEN
AIRPORT EXTENSION
Khon Kaen as a major city in the Northeast of Thailand is growing to be main transport hub of the region.
This expansion aims to support the government's policy promoting tourism in the Northeast cities as well as creates a solid foundation for future Thai-China highspeed railway that will pass through the city of Khon Kaen.
The construction of new Khon Kaen passenger terminal will increase passenger handling capacity by two-fold to about 3,000 people per hour and 8 million passengers per year and able to handle 24 aircraft per hour.
